Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor who is most well known for playing the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first TV role in CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. It is reported that she is working on a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the team who wrote the movie Immortals.
